December 13th Update

Friday, December 13th 2019

Dear 3A Families,

What an awesome week! Our class had the opportunity to watch The Show Must Go On with the division 2 students. It was amazing! Many of your children are excited to be a part of the show next year! Thank you for coming out with your families to support our SVS performers.

This Wednesday is It’s A Crime Not To Read! If your student has public library books at home, please return them before Wednesday. Take a look around their room this weekend to ensure those books come back.

It’s also time to bring back Homework Folders. There are some important multiplication worksheets going home with the calendar this month, so please make sure those come back this week.

Report Cards go home Wednesday.

We finished up classifying data in Math this week, and we’re moving onto Multiplication in January. In Literacy, we continued to read the Borrowers, and write our “How To Build A Snowman” instructions. We’re making How To booklets next week! In Art we made some beautiful pastel art, inspired by Piet Mondrian’s cubism style!

Finally, a reminder that over winter break students will be bringing home water bottles and indoor shoes. It’s a good time to clean those bottles thoroughly, and to double check that your child hasn’t outgrown their indoor shoes.
