October 25th Updates

October 25th 2019!

What a great week! So much happening!

In Science, we created and started testing our containers! All the groups finished, but some will have to be tested on Monday. Check out the pictures below!

In Math we moved from addition to subtraction. Here’s a great game to play online for practice: Subtraction Ducky Race On Monday, students will take home some fact families for homework!

In Literacy we started writing our “Haunted House for Sale” paragraphs! We even made some art today to go with it!

In Social Studies we had time to finish our circles project.

Don’t forget to bring back the Teacher’s Pet forms and fee. They are due October 31s because we don’t have school the next day! Our class has the workshop first thing in the morning on November 4th!

Upcoming Dates:

October 25 TODAY! - Halloween Hop in the gym from 6:30-8:30pm

October 31st- Pumpkinella- Bring in a Jackolantern to display in the gym, then it will be returned to you by the end of the day. Dress up in costumes (PM only) and grade ⅔ Hallway Party in the afternoon.

Nov 1st - No School:  P.D. Day

Nov 4th - Teacher’s Pet in class workshop 9:15-11:15am

Nov 7 - Hot lunch - Subway

Nov. 8 - Remembrance Day Assembly at 10:30AM

Nov 19 - Crime Not to Read Country Hills Library (Vivo) visit 1:15-3:15pm.
