September 27th Updates

Sept. 27, 2019

Dear 3A Families,

I am so pleased to see homework folders coming in and the children are excited to share! Please send those back this week for new October calendars!

This week in 3A:

Math - we finished up Number Patterns and did a test! Onto Place Value next week.

Literacy - we have been working on reading stamina: reading for 10 minutes without stopping. Next week we work on words and spelling!

Science - we tested many materials building towers this week! We will finish our building centers next week.

Social Studies - we looked at the textbook and talked about how we fit into the communities we live in - our world, our country, our province, and our city!

Thank you all so much for the Terry Fox donations, the run today was a success. Hopefully we raised enough to have Ms. Kruger dye her hair pink!

October 2- Math test on addition and subtraction patterns

October 11- No School/ PD day

October 14- Thanksgiving - No School

October 16- Crime not to Read

October 17- Hot lunch Little Caesars

October 25- Halloween Hop in the gym from 6:30-8:30pm
