First Week of School!
We have just finished our first week of grade 3! It has already been so interesting!
- We built towers out of newspaper and tape! We weren't allowed to use scissors or anything else! (most of the towers fell over)
- We made mini me's so that we have a paper version of ourselves! You will see them on our wall for Parent-Teacher Conferences!
- We each got a map of Canada and coloured in the provinces and territories.
- We started to read Freckle Juice.
- Our new chromebooks are here and we all got to try logging in!
Next week we will be:
- starting our JUMP math program
- starting our All About Me bags (students will bring home a paper bag to fill with 3 personal items to share with the class)
- continuing to test materials in Science
- connecting our All About Me to where our families are from (to make connections to the world map)
- finish reading Freckle Juice and write using "First, Next, Then"

Thursday, September 19th - Early Dismissal for Parent-Teacher Conferences
Friday, September 20th - Parent-Teacher Conferences; no school
September 23th-25th - Picture Days!
